Webster’s Definitions:
Health: The state of being free from illness or injury
Care: The provision of what is necessary for the health, welfare, maintenance, and protection of someone or something.
But then Webster goes on to say…
Healthcare: The maintenance and improvement of physical and mental health, especially through the provision of medical services.
Three separate definitions. Frankly, I prefer the combination of the first two rather than the definition of the third.
HealthCARE SHOULD BE:
“The provision of what is necessary to maintain the state of being free from illness or injury while maintaining and improving physical and mental health.”
HealthCARE and HealthREPAIR are not the same. In the majority of cases, ongoing HealthCARE minimizes the necessity of ongoing HealthREPAIR.
This is much more than a play-on-words – and it is vitally important as we, together, endeavor to truly “luv liv’n.”
We know that consistent HealthCARE will physically, emotionally, socially, intellectually and spiritually benefit us. Furthermore, we know that when HealthCARE is put into practice it benefits all of society. When we commit ourselves to an appropriate wellness program we increase our ability to live life and enjoy life to the fullest. While doing so we minimize the necessity of ongoing HealthRepair and ongoing HealthRepair costs.
The pharmaceutical corporations would have us believe that they provide healthcare. I would argue more often than not, they provide extended dependence upon the pharmaceutical industry. Please do not misunderstand. I am grateful for the dedicated scientists and doctors who devote their lives to the development of medicines that eradicate disease and aid individuals who might otherwise suffer. Ours, however, is a preventative medicine of committed actions that provide continued well-being. Is this to say that IF we practice healthy-living through healthy nourishment, healthy exercise and appropriate rest, we will never suffer disease? No. No there is no guarantee we will evade genetics or a propensity for illness. HOWEVER, I choose to not pass up any opportunities that will tilt the scales in my favor!
In 2019 the number one concern of seniors across America is Health Care Costs; it should be. There is little hope that pharmaceutical corporations, government agencies or insurance companies will ever provide balanced options for individuals. By the time they are involved it is often too late. They are not sustaining health so much as they are maintaining existence. So, why not focus our attention to minimizing the need for dependence upon them?
Luv’n Liv’n has always focused attention to the responsibility we have as individuals to make preventative decisions to extend and enjoy life to the fullest! Luv’n Liv’n is unlike any other existing senior fitness endeavor. Luv’n Liv’n backs up every claim with tangible action:

It furthermore offers, to anyone who has an ear to hear, opportunity for a fulfilling vertical relationship with the Creator of life.
HealthCARE? I would encourage each of you, your families and friends to “do what is necessary to maintain the state of being free from illness and injury while maintaining and improving physical and mental health;” THIS is true healthCARE.
It is not too late to start. Yesterday is past, tomorrow hasn’t come – so we have today … and we are RIGHT ON TIME!
Loads of luv’n,
Laurie
